2025 was—let's be honest here—not the best year.
For me, it felt like a series of deep commitments, each of which ended in unavoidable involuntary abandonment: months of work on one project after another, only to hit multiple roadblocks that kept nearly everything from being dragged over the finish line, requiring me to pivot to something else to keep myself busy. The THROOM (the throne room zoom?) above was pretty much the only substantial inhumantouch thing that actually did get finished/published (just barely, in December 2025), and, at least so far, it's unique amongst the output here as it's the first significant piece that isn't an imaginary portrait or a blend of several real-life celebrity faces: no one figure is the focus.
The process here was simple: whatever idea I had next became what I would zoom into next. Most of the imagery is direct from my dreams, or rather, from the brief portions of my dreams I can remember after waking up. Originally I wasn't even sure if I was going to loop it back to the beginning, but an easy way to do so presented itself at just the right time. (As a bonus, there are dozens of easter eggs to be found if you slow things down and check out the periphery of different scenes.)
The accompanying soundtrack "+hRuMuRh+" was provided by Los Angeles-based indie musician and producer Saf Ro (who also appears himself as one of the easter eggs), especially written to accompany the visuals. He also wrote about his reactions to the video on his Substack.

From a latent space containing billions of dimensions, clear voices ring out…
