My first attempts at creating "process" videos. No narration (which I'm going to work on for future such attempts) just some musical accompaniment as I go through the classic DALL-E 2 to GFPGAN Face Enhancer to Photoshop pipeline (long since abandoned and reworked with multiple other generative AI engines, most of which represent massive improvements in image quality, and no longer any need to even bother with GFPGAN).
DALL-E 2 itself became digital dust around 2024, and the DALL-E brand was entirely ditched by OpenAI shortly thereafter. They have continued to produce subsequent generative engines for imagery, but these are now fully integrated into ChatGPT, and no longer presented or marketed as a separate product. Which is just as well, considering that DALL-E 2 was the last version they made that might have been able to lay any claim to being a serious contender in the generative imagery space, and its claim was almost immediately denied by the subsequent rise of Midjourney and Stable Diffusion (then later, Flux, Recraft, and Nano Banana...)
